Pickled Ginger Pan Seared Salmon

Crispy-skinned salmon meets the tangy zing of Pickled Ginger in this quick, flavor-packed dish. Pan-seared to golden perfection, the salmon stays juicy inside while the ginger adds a bright, slightly sweet kick. Simple, fresh, and satisfying! Perfect for a weeknight dinner that feels a little special.

Ingredients: 

  • 3 Tbsp sauc.d Pickled Ginger
  • 8 oz Salmon
  • ½ Napa cabbage
  • ½ Cup Cashews
  • 1 Sprig green onions
  • 4 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • Salt

Gochujang Glaze:

  • 1 Tbsp Gochujang
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Aminos (or soy sauce)
  • 1/3 Cup Water

Recipe: 

  • Cut your cabbage in half
  • In a cast iron use 2 Tbsp of sesame oil and turn on high heat, until you see a little smoke coming off
  • Put your cabbage flat side down and turn heat down to medium
  • Cover with lid and cook for 8 minutes
  • Flip onto other side and cover again, cook for 10 minutes
  • While your cabbage is cooking make your gojuchang glaze
  • Now sear your salmon skin down in a separate pan with 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • Brush sauc.d Pickled Ginger onto salmon
  • Pour gojuchang glaze over cabbage and add cashews
  • Let it simmer so your glaze thickens
  • Plate and garnish with scallions
